Dear Members,
We are preparing an application to the 21st Century Social Clubs programme, which supports member-owned social clubs across England to strengthen their role in community action, local change, and social cohesion. The programme offers practical business support, access to a paid community organiser, an annual budget for local activities, and membership of a national network of social clubs.
This could be a valuable opportunity for our club to build on its history as a welcoming, member-led space while developing new activities, partnerships, and support for the wider community. It would help us explore ways to attract new members, make better use of our facilities, and ensure the club remains strong and relevant for future generations.
To make the application as strong as possible, we need the backing of our members. Your support will show that the club is committed to taking part, working together, and opening up new opportunities for the benefit of both members and the local community.
We therefore ask members to support the committee in submitting this application and to get involved where they can as the process develops. Together, we can help secure the future of our club and strengthen its place at the heart of our community.
