As the groups are now very close to being decided and the new season is due to start on 9th September, there are some group games that don’t need to be played in order to move onto the Quarter Finals. The aim is to finsh the groups on Wednesday with the Quarter Finals being drawn upon completion on those remaining matches. Quarter Final matches to start Wednesday if time allows, if not, Quarter Final matches to be played 19th August, Semi Finals 26th August with the Final 2nd September assuming all players are available. The current state of play: Group 1: Garry Payne and Micheal Sunderland will be going through but the remaining fixture of Andy Taffinder v Michael Sunderland needs to be played to decide group winner. Group 2: Daniel Grimes goes through as winner and Paul Sparkes as runner up. Group 3: Five fixtures remaining to decide the group with defending Champion Daniel Boyes looking likely to be heading out at the group stage: Mick Crowther v Bob Akers, Mick Crowther v Dave Boyes, Mick Crowther v Steve Cunningham, Bob Akers v Steve Cunningham, Jordan Pugh v Steve Cunningham. Group 4: Jon Payne cruises through as group winner with the runner up to being the winner of the remaining fixture between Paul Davey and Jon Jameson.
Hi Vinnie, in Group 4 Andy Underwood beat Taff 2-0 on Monday so this needs adding to the table.
Also, I’ve noticed that my stats are wrong: I’ve won 7 frames & lost 3 so the difference should be +4.
Thanks, Mick.

Thanks Mick. Looks like Lee’s got it sorted, so I’ve removed the “results” from the website.
